Startlingly versatile, staggeringly strong, the Autobot's last line of defense, Metroplex is a mighty instrument of titanic destructive force. Extremely modest about his achievements, he berates himself for not doing more. In robot mode, he can lift 70,000 tons, has shoulder-mounted twin high-energy maser cannons and omni-directional receiving and transmitting antenna. In battle station mode, he possesses twin disrupter rays, laser lances, and powerful anti-matter projectors at his disposal.

- nice G1 homage
- excellent articulation in bot mode, including waist rotation
- huge fearsome weapon that can be attached to the back of the bot when not in use
- alternate robot mode provides additional play value
- Minicon and Galaxy Convoy are value for money

Dislikes
- official bot mode is too slender
- force ignition gimmick in the weapon is rather lame
- bot face is too kiddish
- weapon has only one handle
- vehicle mode is very lame
